- Accumulator
- A single bet that combines multiple selections; all must win for the bet to pay out, multiplying the odds.
- American Odds
- Odds displayed as a positive or negative number, where a negative shows how much you must bet to win 100, and a positive shows the profit on a 100 bet.
- Anytime Goalscorer
- A bet on a specific player scoring at any point during the match.
- Arbitrage
- Placing bets on all possible outcomes of an event with different bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap applied to teams in increments of 0.5 or whole numbers, eliminating the draw option and reducing the number of outcomes.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- A tool that lets you combine multiple outcomes from the same match into a single wager, often called a same-game parlay.
- Bet Slip
- The electronic record that lists the selections, odds, and stake for a bet before it is confirmed.
- Both Teams to Score (BTTS)
- A bet on whether each side will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature allowing you to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet predicting the exact final score of a match.
- Decimal Odds
- Odds expressed as a single number that includes the stake, used to calculate total payout.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet where you pick a team to win; if the match ends in a draw, the stake is refunded.
- First Goalscorer
- A bet on which player will score the opening goal of the match.
- Fractional Odds
- Odds shown as a fraction, indicating the profit relative to the stake (e.g., 5/1 means win 5 units per 1 unit staked).
- Live Betting
- Placing bets on events while a match is in progress, with odds that shift as the game unfolds.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win the match, with odds shown as a positive or negative number.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be higher (over) or lower (under) a set number.
- Point Spread
- A handicap given to the underdog team to level the playing field, requiring them to win by a certain margin for the bet to pay out.
- Push
- A tie result in a bet where the stake is returned, often occurring when the point spread or total exactly matches the outcome.
- Responsible Gambling
- Practices and tools, such as deposit limits and self-exclusion, that help players stay in control and gamble safely.
- Stake
- The amount of money you risk on a particular bet.
- Value Bet
- A situation where the odds offered by a bookmaker are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving an expected positive return.
- Vigorish
- The commission charged by the bookmaker on a bet, usually built into the odds.
- Void Bet
- A bet that is cancelled and the stake is refunded, usually because a match was postponed or a condition was not met.
